Born in London, I have had a diverse exposure to ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds and embrace differences in people.
My BA (Hons) in Classical Civilization (King's College London) has formed a solid foundation for my work; informing of the earliest documentations of civilization, through ancient literature, art, architecture, politics and philosophies, which all revolve around human interaction, collaboration, expression and feeling, as well as societal and personal expectations.
Studying Cultural and Creative Industries for my MA (King's College London), provided me with great insights and practical experience working in creative business as well as writing papers on prominent and influential artists, which was incredibly interesting to me from a psychological and therapeutic perspective.
After a long career in the corporate world, I felt the time was right, to make the change I had been wanting to make for many years. My life and work experiences, as well as my overriding interest in people's welfare and mental health, led me to study and train for four years for my DipHE in Therapeutic Counselling.
During this period and beyond, I have trained with further continued professional development, to add to and compliment my existing skillset and knowledge, offering my clients the best that I can for their individual needs.
When all the training is stripped back, I offer myself as a person who cares and believes in the positive growth of others, joining them on their journey, without judgement or conditions.
During my career I have worked in the following industries:
Recruitment (local government and IT), Financial Industry (stock broking house and a global financial market data and news provider), Broadcast, Advertising Sales, Marketing and HR.
